BBQ Chicken Pizza
If you are looking for a SIMPLE but YUMMY BBQ Chicken Pizza Recipe, you have come to the right place! In recent years, hubby has perfected this pizza (It’s his favorite!), but since we aren’t going to be able to have all of you over for dinner, we will simply share our recipe with you! BBQ Chicken Pizza Recipe

- 1 Package of Pre-made Pizza Dough
- 1 Cup of Your Favorite BBQ Sauce
- 2-3 [Cooked] Grilled Chicken Breasts
- 1 Small Red Onion [Diced]
- 2 Cloves of Garlic [Minced]
- 8 oz. of Monterrey Jack Cheese (Shredded from a block seems to taste best!) *Gouda is perfect for this, too!
- 1 Handful of Green Onions
Step-by-Step Directions:
Before the start of a new week, throw several chicken breasts (or tenderloins) in to the crock pot! Before putting the lid on your pot, pour in an entire bottle of Italian dressing. Let this combo simmer all day! By the evening, you will have a pretty good-size batch of the juiciest chicken ever – chicken that can be used throughout the week in a variety of different recipes!
With that being said, this recipe begins by having my chicken cooked and ready to go!
Working ahead of time makes throwing this pizza together a breeze!
Now…
Roll out your pizza dough…
…evenly smooth 1 cup of your favorite bbq sauce out on the dough…
…top with chicken (either chopped or shredded – either works!), diced red onion, minced garlic, and Monterrey Jack Cheese!
Bake in a 350 degree oven for approximately 20-30 minutes! (Check the directions on your dough!)
Serve with a side of Ranch dressing (for dipping) as well as with green onions sprinkled over the top of the pizza!
