How to Make Rolo Pretzels

Look at these Rolo Pretzels…I mean just look at these! Yes, I know! They are perfection.

This past week, the kids and I made a couple batches of these cuties, and I just had to share them with you.

They made for such a fun little treat, and I’m thinking about adding them to the holiday treat boxes we put together for our neighbors this season.

One kiddo was in charge of unwrapping the Rolos® Yes, we used an entire bag full. ha! – while another kid laid pretzels out on a foil-covered baking sheet.

We topped each pretzel with an unwrapped Rolo – and then popped our baking sheets in a 250°F oven for five minutes.

After they came out of the oven, we topped each partially melted Rolo with another pretzel, let them cool for just a minute or two, and then started popping them in our mouths like candy.

I didn’t have any pecans on hand, but I did try a few with cashews. The other flavors seemed to overpower the taste of the cashew, but maybe it’s different with pecans?
