How to Make Powdered Donuts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Prep your pan and your oven! Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and spritz your mini donut pan with a small amount of non-stick cooking spray.
  • In large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg and sugar. You can either do this by hand, or use a stand mixer. Then, add the milk, oil, vanilla extract, and almond extract until - whisk until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Then, slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
  • Place the donut batter in a piping bag. Don't have one on hand? Use a Ziploc bag and snip off the end of one corner.
  • Fill each indention of the mini donut pan 3/4 of the way full with the batter.
  • Bake the donuts in the oven for 13-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. While they're baking, place the powdered sugar in a medium bowl or a brown paper bag.
  • Let the donuts cool on a cooling rack for 5 minutes, then toss them in the powdered sugar until they are coated fully and enjoy!
