Equipment

  • Foil
  • Grill

Ingredients

  • Waffle Cones
  • Fillings

Instructions

  • Fill the waffle cones with the tasty treats of your choice! I recommend always including some type of marshmallow, because the melted marshmallow will help hold in all of the other ingredients. Stuff it full! The marshmallows and chocolate tend to really melt down.
  • Wrap your filled campfire cone with a sheet of aluminum foil, being sure to give that tin foil a secure twist on the ends.
  • Now you just need to heat up the cones. You can place them on a hot grill for about 3-5 minutes, or use long tongs to hold them over an active campfire for the same amount of time. The hot coals of a burned down campfire is another great option! Use a poker stick to really get those foiled-wrapped desserts surrounded by the indirect heat of the coals. If the weather is working against you, you can place them in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
  • Take the cone s'mores off of the heat, let them cool slightly, then unwrap the foil and enjoy!
