My kids ask for us to make it every holiday!

  • We make it for Easter.
  • My hubby usually requests it for Father’s Day.
  • For some reason, we also like to make it when we’re feeling especially patriotic – like around Memorial Day or the 4th of the July!

You can also add strawberries to add to the patriotic theme!

This is a great recipe to get your kids involved! Not only is it super simple and only uses a few ingredients, but it can also help teach your kids to measure ingredients and crack eggs!

We all know that it can take a little bit to master cracking an egg, so this is the perfect time to practice!

Okay, let’s be honest: throughout the spring and summer months, we bake this Blueberry Cobbler recipe over and over again. It’s especially perfect to toss together after a trip to our favorite Pick-Your-Own Blueberries farm in Monroe, NC: TLC Blueberry Farm

  1. For the blueberry cobbler what size dish and is the butter melted?
    Thank you!

We usually soften the butter at least somewhat – melted works, too! I have an 8 x 10 pan that seems to work really well for this – Thanks for being here, Staci!
