There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves – This series has been a favorite in our house for years. The storylines have always made my kids laugh out loud.
The Leaves on the Tree – This is a simple picture book that does a great job introducing young students to different types of leaves/trees.
We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt – Remember the class story/song “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”? This book was inspired by that childhood favorite!
Why Do Leaves Change Colors? – This is a non-fiction picture book all about how leaves change colors. This book is part of the Let’s-Read-and-Find-Out book series. I can not speak for every book in that series, but this is one we’ve used for fall learning!

Too Many Pumpkins by Linda White – What a heartwarming story! We love this cozy read – what a sweet ending it has.
The Very Best Pumpkin – This pumpkin book has such wonderful illustrations, and I love the way the theme of friendship is woven so beautifully into this story.
P is for Pumpkin – We have shared more about this series here.
From Seed to Pumpkin – This is another non-fiction title from the Let’s-Read-and-Find Out Science Book Series.
Pumpkin Day at the Zoo – The rhyming pattern of this book is so much fun, and the playful animals throughout are adorable.
