With itty bitty kiddos, pizza can get messy.

But when pepperoni and cheese is wrapped up nice and neat inside a cute little pocket of dough, it makes it easier for kids to eat – without the mess.
A crowd pleaser every time – an easy recipe for game day, a great snack, a delicious appetizer, an easy dinner, this recipe is a family favorite in our house.
How to Make These Easy Pepperoni Crescent Rolls
To create these little gems, you only need a large baking sheet and three ingredients!
Ingredients:
- Can of Crescent Rolls
- Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
- Sliced Pepperoni
Quick Tip: One can of store-bought dough usually doesn’t do it for our family! We typically double (or triple…ahem) this recipe.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step #1 – Open your can(s) of Crescent Rolls – laying the dough out flat on our favorite non-stick silicone baking mats.
Don’t own a set of these mats yet?
Try a foil-lined or parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Don’t forget the nonstick cooking spray!
Sometimes I use individual triangles of crescent roll dough, but other times I press the seam of two triangles together to make a square.
Quick Tip: To me personally, the squares can feel like a bit too much dough. So while hubby and the kids don’t mind the squares, I prefer the triangles. I like to call it my “low-carb” option. ha!
- Step #2 – On top of the dough, lay your desired amount of pepperoni slices and a piece of string cheese. Want to also add cheddar cheese? Go for it!
Step #3 – Roll these cuties up and prepare to bake!
- Step #4 – Follow the baking instructions on your package of crescent rolls. This will ensure that your pepperoni rolls will bake to that perfect golden brown.
Look at that gooey mozzarella cheese – YUM!
These easy pizza crescent rolls are delicious served with a side of marinara pasta sauce or warm pizza sauce.
Either eat these pepperoni rolls straight from the baking sheet or off of a paper plate.
You don’t want to ruin this quick-fix meal by creating unnecessary chores for yourself. 😉
How to Spice Up Your Pepperoni Rolls
This simple recipe can be taken to the next level by:
- using spicy pepperoni instead of regular pepperoni
- adding a pinch of crushed red pepper or Italian seasoning inside before baking
- brushing the baked pepperoni rolls with melted butter and garlic powder
- sprinkling parmesan cheese atop the baked rolls
