Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars
While browsing old recipe books, I had seen these Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars and finally decided to give them a try.

Cookie Bar Ingredients
- premade cookie dough (18 oz. tube of cookie dough)
- 1 egg
- half a cup of sugar
- 1 8 oz. block of cream cheese
Directions for How to Make these Creamy Bars
- Press half a roll of cookie dough into the bottom of a greased or non-stick baking dish.
- Mix together 1 egg, half a cup of sugar, and an 8 oz. block of cream cheese – then spread this mixture evenly across the top of your dough.
- Drop the other half of your cookie dough on top in pieces.
- Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35-40 minutes.

A Few Things Worth Mentioning about this Dessert Recipe
- We think these are yummiest served cold out of the fridge. If you’re taking them to a get-together, we recommend keeping them chilled.
- The original recipe called for an 8 x 8 brownie pan. My dish was not that size, so I used a little more than half my dough on the bottom of the pan with a little less dough dropped on top.
- Instead of using an 18 oz. tube of cookie dough, I grabbed a 30 oz. tub of Nestle cookie dough with plans to make a couple of batches of these for gatherings we were going to over the weekend. Don’t worry about your oz. being exact – this will turn out if they’re not just so. I promise!
- These cookie bars were delicious, but definitely not very ingredients conscious. Next time I make these for my kids at home, I’m thinking about trying Sweet Loren’s dough – and I also thought about trying monk fruit sweetener instead of the sugar. Is that a terrible idea? ha!
