Shrimp Pasta
The original inspiration for this Shrimp Pasta Recipe came from At Home with Natalie.
I tried her version (which was delicious) and then did a little tweaking one night when I was throwing together a quick meal only using what I already had on hand in the fridge.

I’m sure you can relate to the busy evening we were having that night!
The secret to this version?
Philadelphia Cream Cheese! Yes!
The kind with onions and chives!
That stuff is a game changer, and I am committing the next year of my life to finding as many ways as possible to work that yummy goodness in to as many recipes as possible. HA!
Alrighty, back to the recipe! Here we go with our family’s favorite version of Shrimp Pasta – a version that couldn’t be any easier to toss together – literally!
Ingredients
- A Smidge of Garlic (to taste)
- A Handful of Diced Broccoli (How much does your family like broccoli?)
- 2 Cups of Shrimped *To make it easy, I like to buy the kind that has already been peeled and deveined.
- A Heaping Tablespoon of Coconut Oil
- A Splash of Milk
- 1 Tub of Philadelphia Cream Cheese with Onions & Chives
- 1 Box of Linguine *Any pasta will do!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step #1 – In coconut oil, sauté a smidge of garlic, a handful of diced broccoli, and a couple of cups of shrimp.
Step #2 – Once the shrimp is cooked and the broccoli is soft (doesn’t take long), pour in a splash of milk and then dump in a little tub of that Philadelphia Cream Cheese. (Have mercy!)
Step #3 – Let all of that simmer for a bit while you’re boiling up a box of linguine noodles.
Step #4 – Once the pasta is cooked, toss it with the yummy mixture you’ve been simmering, and then serve!
Topping it off with some crushed peppercorns gives it an extra little kick that your family might like to try.
P.S. The whole coconut oil thing was just to make me feel better about all the cream cheese. Thank you for your understanding. 😉
