Curious George: The Donut Delivery – For more favorites from the author of the Curious George books, hop over here.
Dozens of Doughnuts – This is a preschool picture book all about counting, sharing, and friendship.


The Great Donut Parade – I think the illustrations are my favorite part of this story book. Rebecca Bond is so talented.

The Hole Story of the Doughnut – Your younger kids might not want to sit through the entire reading of this book – but older kids will enjoy this fact-filled story.
Donut Feed the Squirrels – This is part of a graphic novel series recommended for kids ages 4-8.
Dot the Ladybug: The Missing Dot – If you’re looking for I CAN READ books, this a sweet one.
Minnie and Moo: The Case of the Missing Jelly Donut is another donut-themed I CAN READ book – but Level 3.

Freddie’s Amazing Bakery: Dancing with Donuts – I originally purchased this series from what was once Usborne Books, but many of those books are now available on Amazon.


Stick Dog Tries to Take the Donut – If you have a child that enjoy the Stick Dog series, this might just be their top pick from this list. Note: The Stick Dog books are also available in audiobook format.

- Yummy Donuts Matching Game – This simple memory game is by Chuckle & Roar. We have always been so pleased with the quality of their products.
- Donut Stacking Toy – Need something for your baby or toddler to play with while you’re reading books together? This preschool toy by Learning Resources could not be any cuter!
- Grab that Donut! – This is a fine motor game by Learning Resources. If you’re an Occupational Therapy-minded parent, you will especially like this game.
- Puppy in a Donut Purse – We have yet to find stuffed animals that are as soft and cuddly as the ones by Aurora.

Art Activities with Donuts in Mind
Draw a donut. – Art for Kids Hub shares how to draw a doughnut. Their Doughnut Stack video is fun, too!
Create an origami donut.
Make donuts using play dough. – This Softee Dough Donut Shop playset is a fun option, and there is also this Air Clay set from Play-doh.
Diamond Art Donuts – This would be a fun activity to do with siblings or friends.
