These taco books for kids can be found in many local libraries or on Amazon:

Duck Duck Taco Truck – This hilarious story book will bring on lots of giggles.
Pete the Cat’s Wacky Taco Tuesday – If you have a Pet the Cat fan in your house, they will have fun with this silly taco story. This version of this book includes stickers. There is also a Pete the Cat Terrific Taco Game that would coordinate well with this read.

Little Taco Truck – Do you have taco trucks where you live? We have a couple of fantastic ones here in our area. This is one of our favorite quick-pickup dinner ideas.
Taco Tuesday – This finger puppet book was a favorite in our house when my kids were little. Someone gifted it to us, and it brought us lots and lots of laughs!

Taco Falls Apart – This storybook might just lead to some great conversations about feelings and behavior.
Dragon Loves Tacos – This story is so well-loved, they wrote a sequel!

Pizza & Taco: Best Party Ever – This is a graphic novel recommended for ages 6-8.
It’s Raining Tacos – It’s raining tacos, from out of the sky.
Tacos, no need to ask why.
Just open your mouth and close your eyes.
It’s raining tacos!

Food Ideas
- How about a taco bar? This idea is so easy to set up and can be built to fit the specific tastes of your kids or grandkids.

- Ever heard of Walkin’ Tacos? The setup would be similar to a taco bar – but instead of building tacos, the taco ingredients go down in a single-serving bag of chips. This idea is easy and fun for kids!
A Few More Taco-Themed Ideas
- Let’s Taco About it Conversation Cards – This taco-themed family night activity idea could not be a more perfect fit for this post!
- Waterproof Vinyl Taco Stickers – Older kids love attaching these kinds of stickers to their devices, water bottles, etc.
- How cute are these taco band-aids? I think I’m going to have to put them in Christmas stockings this year! ha!
We hope you have fun with these ideas!
