World’s Best Cornbread Recipe
As with many of the snapshots I share from my kitchen, this World’s Best Cornbread Recipe is SIMPLE, SIMPLE, SIMPLE – I almost feel embarrassed calling it a recipe, but just in case you’ve never tried the way we like to make our cornbread, I want to pass a couple of tips along to you!

Ingredients:
- Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix (Calls for Egg & Milk)
- Butter
- Honey
Yep, that’s all you need!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step #1 – Bake the Jiffy mix according to the package instructions. (You may have a different kind you like better, but this is typically our go-to mix. I know, I know – It’s not the cleanest mix, but we can’t help ourselves.)
As soon as the bread is finished baking, pull it out of the oven, and immediately:
Step #2 – Melt 1 heaping tablespoon of butter.
Step #3 – Mix melted butter with 1 tablespoon of honey.
Step #4 – Brush, pour, or drizzle the honey butter mixture all over the top of your piping hot bread!
Step #5 – Allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes, then slice and serve warm!
This cornbread is delicious served with just about any comfort food meal – especially soup…or BBQ…or anything really.
I can’t promise you that this is the healthiest recipe, but I can promise you that it will taste amazing.
