Brown Sugar Banana Bread
This homemade Brown Sugar Banana Bread is perfect for any time of year! I recently fell in love with the recipe – especially after my mom told me that it tasted JUST LIKE the banana bread her mom used to make years ago.
That was a recipe I never had the chance to try. That little tidbit of history has made me love this recipe even more…oh yeah, and it tastes delicious, too!

Mmm this sounds amazing! And brown sugar makes all sorts of recipes that much better haha 🙂 Thanks for sharing, I look forward trying it out! Going to pin so I remember to make it.
Would love to hear how it turns out for you! We love it!
What size loaf pan do you use for the Brown Sugar Banana Bread? Do you grease the bottom with shortening or butter?
Do you use light brown sugar or dark brown sugar?
Hey Jacki! We usually use a regular size loaf pan, but it’s also fun to split the batter up and make a batch of mini loaves. These have been fun neighbors gifts to give! We usually do grease our pans when we’re baking in our glass loaf pans – and light or dark brown sugar works in this recipe. We hope you enjoy this one! Always makes us think of my grandmother~
